FACEBOOK MOSAICS
I found a way to spice up the boring and sometimes frustrating picture browsing process of facebook, by cropping a picture 15 different times so that the thumbnails make up one larger picture!
This will be an ongoing project and experiment with the unlimited limits of facebook photos.
Check them out in the projects!

I GOOGLE, THEREFORE, I AM
I just found my new favorite activity: Not finishing Google searches and seeing what other people have.
More specifically, questions are the most interesting. Some of us may ask deeper metaphysical, or spiritual questions that have been the cause of hundreds of years of wars and sacrifices, others just simply want to know "Is there a way I can get this popular guy to get me pregnant".
I've decided to do a little exploratory on these questions the internet-users-of-wherever are pondering so much that they rely on Google. Google is a great reflection of the world, like a still little pond in the land of cyberspace, you are never going to receive just one answer or the right one for that matter - it's called google for crying out loud - and the most searched questions it receives are going to basic at best.
I think I just love the fact that you could put any combination of words after the sentence "is there", but the one that most people seem to compose involve a hot teenage guy and a girl who needs to do some serious rethinking.
Thanks to Jesse for the tip.
I may have to start a whole new page for this project. If anybody comes up with some good ones send them my way and I'll post them up. Also, I wonder if we can manipulate it the search engine enough so that we can have the most popular search be something like "is god in my ice cream?", or maybe not something that sounds like Malcolm Gladwells new book for evangelical entrepreneurs.

FOOTBALL: LETS TALK HELMET DESIGN
Ken Carbone posted this article the other day about football helmet designs. It was an interesting article and I'm sure all graphic designers out there have thought at one time or another about changing a team's uniform or helmet colors or layout. And I agree with Paul Lukas' article on UniWatch that pretty much took all the words out of my mouth. As a Pats fan, I would be ashamed if my team wore Carbone's proposed redesign for New England. Really Ken? You thought that was a good idea? You are obviously not from Boston. His Redskin's helmet was a great treatment, but is that all we can do in terms of interactivity with helmet design and a teams logo? I'm sure we could find a solution for every team around this theme, but if we did then these wouldn't be so cool, especially for teams that actually have logos i think too many variations of a teams equity might dilute it.
Seeing that the NFL has been liberal with their retro jersey's this year, here are a few teams i can think of that could have some fun with their design:
The Detroit Lions
The Kansas City Chiefs
Falcons, Cardinals, Ravens - I'll leave it up to you figure out how these could be better designed since the Eagles pretty much own the wing motif.
Raiders - Do we update the old logo? That dude rockin' the eye patch needs stop living in the 30's.
Broncos - They've been lucky with their throwback jersey this season, but wouldn't it be cool if they made their helmets look like a horses mane?
You would think i would say Cleveland Browns, but why bother with a team that is tanking this season. And don't designer's already love minimalism?
eh?

Here are some photos from the other night at the Only Hearts Pop Up store party. The place was packed and I almost ran out of business cards. But the lovely Roxana was there to cool us down with coconut juice.
