KEYBOARD STICKERS IN GLAMOUR MAGAZINE

That's right, I've gone international. The keyboard stickers are featured in the April issue of Glamour magazine in Germany! This is my first actual press of my designs. Now I know what it must be like for David Hasselhoff when the entire country of Germany screams your name, or maybe not.

MONUMENTS POSTER

This poster was made back in September for the Brooklyn band, Monuments. I never got around to posting it and saw it just sitting there the other day, and as I head out to Austin tomorrow I guess I just have concerts on my mind. I hope to see some great design while I'm there.

New print. I was watching Dances with Wolves the other day and got inspired to do a native american influenced piece. This went through a myriad of color options and styles before i just settled on black and white in a straightforward vector approach.

THE LONDON OLYMPICS: a bad logo needs good friends

I was looking through some old files the other day and found this idea I had created for a London 2012 Olympic mascot.

The mascot is usually symbolic of teamwork and a spirit of community. The characters I made are taken from the shape of the towers on the London Bridge. Together they connect and give a passage for all the different races and ideologies of the world to unite for the spirit of competition and the human race.

YOGI HEALING SHAMAN

You may have seen him around Union Square carrying a big canvas sign, practicing his healing and spreading his kindness, or you may find him at Sundance this week. Te'DeVan, the 6 foot 7 inch nomadic yogi healing shaman is known all over the country, he is a celebrity in a nonconventional celebrity way, and this weekend he ended up on my couch. We got a free ride back to Brooklyn from a total stranger and the next morning he asked me to paint on his jacket so he won't have to carry around his sign. I didn't have time to really think or sketch something out so I just released some spontaneous energy.

It's already making out to be quite the attention grabber, he told me people keep stopping him to take picture of it. He is off to Sundance to gather a team to produce his reality TV show. I hope good fortune and him run into each other on the street.

DESKTOP DISASTER

A while back I made a drawing of car tanking into a small puddle. That drawing became a poster which has now become a wooden toy. This is one of my first graphic sculptural projects and my first time collaborating with my good friend and furniture maker, Pete Michelinie. I sent him a sketch of the design, he went to his shop to make it one day, forgot the sketch and carved it from memory. I liked the wooden version so much I almost didn't want to paint over it, but Pete insisted I should. If there is a high enough demand we will hopefully be producing more of these and selling them. I'd love to hear what you think. And in case anybody was wondering this is not a Chappaquiddick reference. Being from Massachusetts all i've got is love for the Kennedys.
