Client: Grimis
Hand-cut newsprint on corrugated paper
I was given the opportunity to design for the experimental americana band, Grimis, I experimented with a lot of options before settling on a contemporary take on folk art. After four days of drawing freehand, imbuing symbolism wherever i could to relate with the album, and cutting with an X-acto knife, I finally finished. Photographer Kurt Landry shot the final images and we got it ready for production. This has been one of my favorite projects to work on in my short career.
take a listen to Grimis.
